NEW YEAR SAME AMBITIONS.

Howdy 2019, And a happy new year to all of you Tandaza family.
After a long and hard pre-season training, it was time for the first game of our debut season in the FKF Division two league.
After securing promotion from the regional league meant our away games this season will involve a lot of traveling out of Nairobi and Karatina town was our first away destination for a date against Karatina Homeboys.
Just like last season, we are out to earn promotion to Division one come next season and a five one thrashing of the fellow Division two newcomers not only reinforced that ambition but also sent a statement to the league’s old boys to stay on the look out because, Tandaza is here.
Here’s our starting IX against Karatina Homeboys

2. Shem
3. Lefty
4. Manga

We started the game slowly which led to the home team taking the lead inside the first twenty minutes of the game after Musa fambled a short corner from the home team and they capitalised slaming home to take the lead. Debutant Ricky Onimbo headed in the equalizer from our own corner on the half hour mark to end the half one all.

The second half saw coach GS inject a bit of pace into the front three with Kasee replacing Cazorla after restart. Another debutant Atuulo pounced on two defensive errors to score two quick fire poachers’ goals to give us a 2-1 lead before the hour mark. Atuulo wasn’t done and he swept home two more goals from two samptous crosses from Jeff and Walt respectively to bag four goals on his first competitive d├ębut.
Congrats, to Atuulo who was named the Man of the match after his heroic performance.
Our next game is on Saturday against Mathaithi FC from Karatina at Lower Kabete at 3pm.

Come on Tandaza, Lets do this all over again on Saturday with Pride and Passion.
